If you have limitations such as financial constraints, limited access, and other obstacles that you think might hinder you from pursuing your dreams, believe that these are no longer reasons for you to stop! This has been proven by one of Sanberhub’s talents, who is now successfully holding the position of Fullstack Developer at one of our partner companies, And he is Hariyono.
Hariyono comes from a mid-low family; his parents are farmers and selling fruit. Hariyono had a dream of going to college without burdening his parents, but of course, pursuing this dream was not easy. He tried to get into a public university in his first year after high school but didn’t pass. He was accepted into a private university, but due to financial constraints, Hari (as he is called) didn’t accept the invitation from the private university.
Hari did not give up; he studied every day to pass the entrance exam for a public university the following year. Hard work paid off, and in 2015 Hari was accepted into a public university in Semarang. However, the struggle didn’t stop there. Due to limited budget, Hari had to find extra income to fulfill his needs. He and his friend did various jobs until they finally got part-time job as waiters in hotels and restaurants.
Hari’s introduction to IT came through a friend. In short, Hari was in the Biology department, while his friend was in the Pure Physics department. His friend had to work on a thesis about an automatic plant watering system, which required learning coding. His friend then found out about a C# Bootcamp and got accepted. After three months, his friend completed the Bootcamp and was immediately placed in a company. Riyan, his friend, motivated Hari to get into IT, and Hari decided to switch his career to IT background.
Hari’s IT career journey began here. He found out about a JS Fullstack Bootcamp and got accepted. The three-month Bootcamp was challenging for him, as he had no IT background at all, but he never gave up. Completing the Bootcamp didn’t mean instant success; he faced several rejections from companies. Finally, in 2022, one year after graduated from college, Hari was accepted at a private company in Indonesia.
Hari wanted to try other opportunities. In December 2023, he found out about the Super Bootcamp 2023 from Sanbersy. He got accepted and completed the Bootcamp, eventually being placed as a Fullstack Developer at one of Sanberhub’s partner companies. In this company, he found a very supportive environment for growth, as the company provided time for sharing sessions related to project development, especially for new employees like him.
That was Hari’s journey to becoming a Fullstack Developer. From Hari’s story, we can learn that giving up because of circumstances is not the solution. We must rise when we fall and not lose hope, even when the situation seems to force us to stop. So, stay motivated and achieve your dreams with perseverance and hard work.
